Niall promotes the rights and welfare of children and young people up to the age of 18 and deals with complaints made by or for children and young people about the actions of public bodies. Niall is a registered counselling and clinical psychologist, has worked in the area of child protection for almost 20 years and has also worked within the field of Intellectual Disability

“Therapeutic Music Activities for Children with Special Needs”

Bill is a Senior Music Therapist registered with the Irish Association for Creative Art Therapists (IACAT) with neurologic music therapy training currently in St. John of God Special School, Meath Community Unit and ChildVision: National Education Centre for Blind Children.

Consultation Session:

The National Council for Special Education (NCSE) will consult with parents present on the Special Needs Assistants (SNA) scheme.

This consultation will inform the NCSE’s Review of the SNA scheme.
